Jun 25, Jun 11, I have found it listed in Device Manager, and in the properties dialogue it says it is working properly. In Disk Management it shows up as 'unallocated space' and is called Drive 1 - as opposed to Drive 0 which is 'Drive C'. It still doesn't work. Nothing pops up.

I think there were but didn't know what they were. I don't think I would trust whatever is on them. Looking at other people's work kinda lets you know if they knew what they were doing or not.
This machine is very slow, sticky and clunky. It will handle maybe two windows open at a time after you get it running well.
To get it running well sometimes takes a few restarts to clear it's throat. I was going to start asking about that next but this may all be connected.
